These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of TapMeForLife, including its website, NFC tag activation flow, user profile pages, QR links, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using TapMeForLife, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
TapMeForLife is a digital information-linking and emergency profile access platform. It allows users to create and display emergency information through NFC tags, QR codes, and web links. TapMeForLife does not provide medical care, emergency dispatch, law enforcement services, roadside assistance, or legal services.
You are solely responsible for all information you enter, upload, store, publish, or share using TapMeForLife, including but not limited to:
You represent and warrant that the information you provide is accurate, lawful, current, and that you have the right to share it. You are responsible for updating your information when it changes.
TapMeForLife is a convenience tool only. We do not guarantee that:
You understand and agree that emergency outcomes depend on many factors beyond TapMeForLife’s control.
You use TapMeForLife at your own risk. You acknowledge that incorrect, outdated, incomplete, inaccessible, or misunderstood information may result in delays, inconvenience, or harm, and that TapMeForLife is not responsible for such outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TapMeForLife, its owners, administrators, developers, affiliates, officers, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TapMeForLife and its administrators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password, NFC code assignment, and any linked profile information. You are responsible for all activities under your account.
If you believe your account, tag, or profile has been compromised, you must act immediately (e.g., update your password, contact the administrator, and update your emergency details).
Registration may require a valid activation code generated or issued by the TapMeForLife administrator. TapMeForLife reserves the right to reject, disable, revoke, or reassign codes and accounts in cases of misuse, fraud, abuse, duplication, or policy violations.
Users are responsible for safeguarding their NFC tags, QR-linked materials, activation codes, and account credentials. If a tag, code, or linked item is lost, stolen, damaged, copied, or suspected to be compromised, the user must notify the TapMeForLife administrator as soon as possible.
TapMeForLife and/or its administrator may, at their sole discretion:
TapMeForLife is not liable for any unauthorized access, viewing, use, or misuse of a lost, stolen, copied, or compromised tag/code before the administrator has received and processed a deactivation or support request.
Users remain responsible for reviewing and updating their emergency profile information after any replacement, reassignment, or deactivation event.
The administrator’s decision regarding code/tag deactivation, reassignment, replacement eligibility, and account safety actions shall be final.
You agree not to use TapMeForLife for:
TapMeForLife may use or link to third-party services (e.g., maps, mobile device features, GPS, telecom calling, browsers, QR tools). TapMeForLife is not responsible for the availability, content, accuracy, fees, privacy practices, or performance of third-party services.
TapMeForLife may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
While reasonable efforts may be made to maintain the Service, TapMeForLife does not guarantee against data loss, corruption, or downtime. Users are encouraged to keep their own backups of important information and documents.
TapMeForLife may suspend or terminate accounts, profiles, or code access at its discretion, especially for violations of these Terms, misuse, legal requests, or security concerns.
Information displayed on TapMeForLife is user-provided and is not medical, legal, or professional advice from TapMeForLife. Users and responders should exercise their own judgment and verify information when possible.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms shall be interpreted to the maximum extent permissible to protect TapMeForLife and its administrators.
TapMeForLife may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
